A big part of our culture is centered around giving back to our community, serving others, and making an impact in people’s lives. Through volunteer work and financial support of various causes, we are always looking for ways to enrich our local community - where we live and work.
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, we have supported Northwestern Mutual in donating more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours. We are also excited to announce that we have supported our Nebraska network in raising over $1 Million towards the fight against childhood cancer!

Youth for Christ
Youth for Christ Lincoln Area is a non-denominational, non-profit organization serving youth in the Lincoln community and surrounding areas. YFC engages youth through three ministries: Campus Life to teens in high schools and middle schools, Juvenile Justice to jailed teens, and Parent Life to pregnant teens. Through regular programming and special events, YFC Lincoln Area works with over 2,400 local youth with the goal of engaging them in a healthy relationship with mentors, friends, and God.
TeamMates mentoring of Lincoln
TeamMates mentoring program matches young people with one-to-one mentors. Mentors are volunteers from the community who have made a commitment to this program and their student. Matches meet at school each week for approximately one class period. Lincoln TeamMates currently serves nearly 1200 matches in more than 70 public and private schools in our community.
Atlas Lincoln
Atlas Lincoln is a group of Christ-followers who work to model Jesus relational ministry in the context of Lincoln, NE. The organization seeks to walk relationally with hurting people, to "touch lives for Christ together." Some of our neighbors face addiction, homelessness, generational poverty, and the deep, lasting pain of unresolved trauma. We do our best to love each person and guide them in the right direction and walk with them on their journey.
Prader Willi Syndrome Association
Prader‐Willi Syndrome Association was formed to unite parents, professionals, and interested citizens to enhance the quality of life of those affected by Prader‐Willi syndrome. PWSA empowers the PWS community through shared experiences, research, education, advocacy, and support. With chapters in most states, ours is the only national PWS support organization whose sole purpose is to assist individuals with the syndrome, and their families.
